Papa John's leads third annual 'Dreams for Kids Day'

Here's an excuse not to make dinner tonight - it's 'Dreams for Kids Day' in support of the Sunshine Foundation of Canada.

Papa John's Pizza locations in Kelowna and West Kelowna, along with the foundation, have teamed up again to raise money to send children with disabilities and severe illnesses to Disneyland.

100-percent of Papa John's sales today will go to the cause.

Bob Peterson, a sheriff with the Orange County Police Department - whose officers volunteer with the kids and their families - says it's incredible how this event affects his team.

"For our young women and women to come out, carry some of these kids off the plane, and escort them for a day of happiness, words are very difficult to express, how much we appreciate it, and how much it moves our staff, its a great symbiotic relationship."

Papa John's is also offering a Dream Cookie with proceeds to Sunshine DreamLifts for Kids.
