Looking for work?

The RCMP are hiring.

A career presentation next week at the West Kelowna Detachment will outline what it takes to becoming a police officer.

Constable Erika Dirsus has been on the force for 23 years.

"We are looking for people who adhere to our six core values. Our core values are honesty, integrity, professional, compassion and respect."

BC boasts in the neighbourhood of 66 hundred RCMP officers, the most of any province in Canada.

"A lot of what we do is on our website, however you can't always get things from a website. Sometimes its better to speak to a police officer. Someone who has been to Depot and has been through this profession," Dirsus added.
