Ribbon cutting today on Landmark 7
If you're in construction, there's more and more work here in Kelowna.
The ribbon cutting was today to officially begin a three year project to build Landmark 7, the newest office tower in the Landmark District.
When complete in 2022, it'll be the tallest office building between Vancouver and Calgary at 24 storeys.
Marketing Agent Dallas Grey says today was also the official opening of the District Market in the old Volkswagon dealership.
"We spent a lot of time and effort to take what was a garage essentially, and turn it into a beautiful commercial building. We have 7 tenants with a special announcement coming soon. Great ammenities for the Landmark District and great ammenities for Kelowna."
Gray says access to the District Market is pretty simple with a large parking lot next to the building.
