Students assaulted with bear spray

The Kelowna RCMP are looking for suspects inside an SUV that reportedly bear sprayed a group of teens Friday afternoon in Rutland.

At around 12:30 pm, the teens were heading back to school from the lunch break along Richards Road when a black Dodge Durango pulled alongside, the back window was rolled down and bear mace was sprayed at them.

The victims who were contaminated with the spray were treated by staff members at the school.

Police are looking for 3 south Asian males that were inside the vehicle.

If you have any information, you are asked to contact the RCMP.
