Sunny days ahead
Environment Canada is forecasting sun and seasonable temperatures later this week.
Meterologist Alyssa Charbonneau says the sun will become a prominent fixture in the sky from Tuesday to Sunday.
But we aren't done with the wind yet.
Charbonneau says a low pressure system Tuesday night could test flood protections along Okanagan Lake.
"Generally in the Kelowna area - Northern Okanagan - it (wind) will be from the southwest at 30 kilometers, gusting to 50. If you move further south towards Penticton, you could see those winds shift out of the northwest."
Charbonneau says when the wind dies down mid-week, the temperature will climb to a high of 29 degrees for Sunday.
