The flu won't let go

If you've been suffering from the flu - this late in the season - you're not alone.

The BC Centre for Disease Control says in the last week, three-quarters of reported cases have been the H3N2 strain - and there's also been a 50 per cent spike in H1N1 cases.

Since October, about 76 per cent of the cases have been H1N1.

The CDC says the flu season peaked around January 1st - and had been declining up to the beginning of March.

Health officials says it's too soon to know whether this second wave has peaked.
