  • LIVE on Sportsnet: Happ set for ASG

J.A. Happ is ready for action tonight in Washington, D.C., as he aims to impress in his first All-Star Game. Watch live on Sportsnet.
  • Jansen goes deep for World in Futures Game

The 20th edition of the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game had no shortage of big moments, with the two sides combining for eight home runs -- doubling the previous Futures Game record -- as Team USA outslugged the World, 10-6, on All-Star Sunday at Nationals Park. Here is a recap of each player's performance, with a breakdown of each club's representatives.
  • Happ appreciative and proud of All-Star bid

J.A. Happ's selection not only feels like the long-awaited notoriety has finally come in his career, but also sends a message to anyone along the way who counted him out and said his place was not with the biggest starts in baseball.
  • Jansen goes deep for World in Futures Game

Each team slugged four home runs, but it was Team USA who came out on top in a 10-6 victory at Sunday's SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game at Nationals Park.
  • Teoscar homers, but Blue Jays hurt by miscues

On the same day that Toronto lost Kevin Pillar and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. to the disabled list, the Blue Jays made a couple of more miscues in the field that ultimately led to a 5-2 loss at the hands of the Red Sox. Right-hander Marcus Stroman took the loss after allowing four runs, three earned, but similarly to J.A. Happ on Thursday, he deserved a better fate.

As they prepare for a trip to Ottawa for game number five of 2018, the BC Lions are starting to feel the effects of the injury bug. One day after it was announced running back Jeremiah Johnson was doubtful with a wonky ankle, head coach Wally Buono confirmed that Solomon Elimimian will miss Friday’s tilt […]
  • Travis Lulay named CFL Player of the Week

After adding yet another dramatic chapter to his career as a Lion, quarterback Travis Lulay has earned CFL Top Performer kudos for Week 5 after leading the club to a 20-17 come-from-behind win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Saturday night. Throwing for 326 yards and a touchdown on the evening, Lulay took advantage of […]
  • Mr. 300 On Cloud Nine In New Offence

He isn’t a flashy guy by nature and always adopts that the ‘team first’ mentality. So you’d have to forgive Cory Watson for not thinking about his latest career milestone until we brought it up on Monday. “Not much at all,” the mild-mannered receiver chuckled. “It’s a great accomplishment to have and says that you’ve […]
  • Purolator Tackle Hunger Raises 22,000 Pounds of Food for Vancouver and Surrey Food Banks

Vancouver, BC- It was a campaign that started at the club’s season member draft party in May, continued at our Fan Fest event during training camp in Kamloops then culminated with a two-week long social media campaign leading up to Saturday’s thrilling comeback victory over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. As part of a full team […]
  • Roar Report: Lions Come From 17 Down To Stun Blue Bombers

It had more ups and downs than the classic PNE roller coaster adjacent to old Empire Stadium. And for the BC Lions (2-2-0), it was well worth the usual wait in line. Travis Lulay passed for 326 yards and a touchdown to Shaq Johnson to even the score and Ty Long‘s 16-yard field goal with […]
  • Game Preview | Lions Host Blue Bombers

As he prepares for his first start in over nine months, Travis Lulay admits he’s a little exhausted. Make no mistake: not all of that has to do with the endless film study, final stages of rehab or endless questions regarding his availability this weekend. “I’m tired from my daughter’s fourth birthday yesterday. Watermelon themed,” […]
