Accused killer making fifth court appearance
A Kelowna man accused of killing his family will be making his fifth court appearance on Friday morning.
34-year-old Jacob Daniel Forman is charged with one count of second degree murder and two counts of first degree murder, after the bodies of his wife Clara Forman and their two daughters were discovered inside their Rutland home back in December.
Since his arrest, Forman has made four court appearances in as many months, appearing stone-faced and emotionless each time. He would only speak when replying to questions by his defence counsel or the judge.
The exact cause of death of the victims has not been made public, and it’s unknown whether or not a psychiatric assessment on Forman has taken place.
Forman, who remains in custody, has yet to enter a plea in court.
