CFL All-Star headed to Kelowna

Former CFL All-Star Angus Reid will be in Kelowna next week.

The former BC Lions offensive lineman is a guest instructor at a skills camp being put on by Kelowna Minor Football.

President Mike Saini says Reid will be joined at the camp by UBC Thunderbirds quarterback coach Jay Prepchuk.

"I think it is a real treat for our kids in the community to have that opportunity to learn from two different positional players that are very accomplished in their individual careers".

The camp, June 16th at Kelowna Senior Secondary, is open to both tackle and flag football players.

Reid retired from football on March 7, 2014.
