Dube feeling the heat in Stockton

Dillon Dube will be in the Stockton Heat line-up tonight when they face the Texas Stars.

The Kelowna Rockets forward was called up by the American Hockey League team after his WHL season came to an end last Thursday with a four game sweep at the hands of the Tri City Americans.

Dube, who is a second round pick of the Calgary Flames in 2016, played one game with the Heat last season in the playoffs and was scoreless.

The Heat are coached by Ryan Huska.

The pride of Canmore, Alberta will likely play pro next season after playing four seasons with the Rockets, where he earned a WHL championship in 2015 and captained Team Canada to a gold medal at the recent World Junior Hockey Championship.

Dube, who was second in team scoring this season with 84 points, was named a Second Team Western Conference all-star.
