Ex-Rocket player now a Flame

A former Kelowna Rockets player is on the move.

Justin Kirkland has signed a two way contract with the NHL's Calgary Flames. 

The 22 year-old played three seasons with the Rockets, including two under current Flames assistant coach Ryan Huska.     

A third-round pick by Nashville in the 2014 NHL Draft, Kirkland has appeared in 198 AHL games over his first three pro seasons, notching 25 goals and 44 assists for 69 points.
