Ex-Rockets coach receives ECHL honour

A former coach with the Kelowna Rockets is the East Coast Hockey League coach of the year.

Brad Ralph earned the award after helping the Florida Everblades to a 53 win season and a franchise record 112 points.

The 37 year-old Ralph spent one season with the Kelowna Rockets as head coach in 2015-2016, leading the team to a 48 win season and a birth in the Western Conference final.

Ralph mutually parted ways with the organization at the conclussion of that season before the team hired Jason Smith.
