Falcons 2018 schedule released

The Kelowna Falcons 2018 schedule has been released along with the rest of the West Coast League today.

Kelowna will start and finish its season at Elks Stadium, starting with a visit from the Bellingham Bells between June 1st and 3rd.

The regular season ends with a series against the Wenatchee Applesox from August 6th to 8th.

For the second time in as many years, the League will expand, and is now up to 11 teams.

This year's new squad is the Portland Pickles, who have played in the neighbouring Great West League for the last two seasons.

Canadian Jon Ryan, who's also the punter for the Seattle Seahawks, is a part owner of the team that will visit Kelowna July 6th, 7th, and 8th.

Last year's new team, the Port Angeles Lefties, host the all-star break in upper Washington State on July 16th and 17th.

The Falcons' first rematch with the Victoria HarbourCats, who eliminated them from last year's playoffs, will happen in Kelowna, June 8th to 10th.
