Lind signs entry-level deal with Canucks

It's a big day for Kole Lind.

The Kelowna Rockets forward has been signed by the Vancouver Canucks, to a three-year entry level contract.

The 19-year-old from Shaunavon, Saskatchewan was picked 33rd overall by the Canucks, in the second round of last year's entry draft.

In his third full year with the Rockets, Lind has 85 points to show over 51 games played.

Over his WHL career, he's produced at a pace that's better than a point per game, with 214 points in 197 games.

Lind and the Rockets visit the Everett Silvertips Friday night, before hosting Spokane on Saturday.
