Local officials will call games at RBC Cup
Two Kelowna residents have been added to the officiating crew for the 2018 RBC Cup, which begins this weekend in Chilliwack.
Ward Pateman, who was born in Prince George but now calls Kelowna home, is one of two BC referees participating in the high profile event.
The 29 year-old has experience in the AHL, the WHL and the BCHL, having called games in the 'Fred Page Cup' the last four seasons.
Joining Pateman will be 21 year-old Kelowna linesman Tim Plamondon, who has served as an official in the WHL, BCHL and the KIJHL.
The RBC Cup runs May 12th to 21st.
