New head coach has high hopes

Three months ago the Okanagan Sun hired Jamie Boreham as the teams new head coach.

The 40 year-old takes over the post from Ben Macauley, who resigned in November after leading the team to a first place finish.

Boreham knows there is pressure to win.

"With me, I've been around the team long enough. I now how the thing works. I know how the league works. I've played in it. I've coached in it.  We are going to be fine. We will put our best foot forward and make our kids better every single day".

The first order of business is recruiting.

"We are the Okanagan Sun, so we have a tradition. That is helpful. Sometimes seeing kids face-to-face helps things. That face-to-face contact is so important in the recruiting process,"   Boreham added.

The Sun are getting set to host their spring evaluation camp May 10th to the 12th at the Apple Bowl.
