Raiders lacrosse back after one year hiatus
After a one year hiatus, the Kelowna Raiders are back in the Thompson Okanagan Senior Lacrosse League.
General Manager Jules Morris says they had to take last year off due to a lack of numbers.
"We were just not competitive. That's what it came down too. A short bench. Guys were overworked. The quality of the players in Armstrong increased. I just think we weren't competing."
A greater commitment in recruiting has the Raiders back in the league with Vernon, Armstrong and Kamloops.
The Raiders first home game is May 3rd at Rutland Arena against the Kamloops Rattlers.
