Reid Gardiner WHL Player of the Week again

For the second straight week, Kelowna Rockets Forward Reid Gardiner has been named the WHL's Player of the week.

He registered five points in two games as the Rockets split their weekend series with the T-birds.

A highlight was Gardiner's 14th goal of the post-season on Saturday night - it set a new Rockets record for playoff goals, erasing the previous mark of 13 set by Jamie Benn in 2009.

Gardiner leads the WHL Playoffs in scoring with 27 points in 13 games.

The Kelowna Rockets and Seattle Thunderbirds meet in Game Three tomorrow at Prospera Place with the series is tied at one.
