Rockets d-man rated

International Scouting Service has released its monthly rankings of the top players eligible for the 2019 NHL Draft.

Kelowna Rockets defenceman Kaedan Korczak is rated 29th, which will mean the soft spoken blueliner would be chosen in the opening round.

Teammates Lassi Thomson and Nolan Foote are projected to be taken in the second round.

The top rated player is American Jack Hughes.

Vancouver Giants d-man Bowen Byram is the top ranked WHL player, projected to be selected third overall.

The 2019 NHL draft is in Vancouver in late June.
