Rockets rated

The Hockey News has released its first list of the top players eligible for next June's NHL draft - and two Kelowna Rockets are projected to be first round selections. 

Rookie Lassi Thomson is rated 19th - while teammate Nolan Foote is 29th.  

Thomson leads all WHL rookie defenceman in scoring this season with 12 points.  

Foote will play next week for Team WHL against the Russian Selects as part of the CIBC Canada-Russia Series. 

After having no players taken in the 2018 draft - five Rockets could be chosen in 2019.  

Goaltender Roman Basran, defenceman Kaedan Korczak and Kyle Topping are also eligible to be selected and are rated by NHL Central Scouting.
