Severson inks new deal

After three short seasons in the NHL, Damon Severson has cashed in.

The 23 year-old signed a 6 year deal with the New Jersey Devils, paying him on average, 4.1 million dollars a season.

The former Kelowna Rocketd defenceman is signed through the 2022-2023 season.

Severson spent four plus seasons in the WHL from 2009 until 2014 and was a second round pick of the Devils in the 2012 NHL draft.
