Sun welcome bye week with open arms

The bye week for the Okanagan Sun couldn't come at a better time.

The team played without 7 regulars in Saturday's road win over the Langley Rams.

Head Coach Ben McCauley says his team needs the rest.

"We are looking to use this to rest up and re-evaluate and really look at ourselves and how we can change and try to come out as a much stronger team for our first home game."

The Sun return to action September 8th when they host the Langley Rams at the Apple Bowl.

"We are a few plays from being 4-0 right now. We are a little frustrated in that sense that we've given up, allowed some teams to take some points away from us. To come out of it 2-1 and 1 is not the worst thing in the world but we are going to use it as fuel to move forward now", McCauley added.
