4.0 Earthquake Felt in Cleveland, Ohio

An earthquake has shaken people along the southern shore of Lake Erie on the Ohio side.

The 4.0 magnitude quake hit 29 km. northeast of Cleveland in Lake Erie around 10:45am Monday.

People along the shoreline communities reported feeling buildings and houses shake and a huge "boom" noise.

No damage or injuries are reported.

Lake County's Sheriff's department says aftershocks may be felt for the next couple of days.

There are no reports of anyone on the Canadian side of the border feeling the earthquake.
