Rotary Club of Windsor-St. Clair Spokesperson John Weese says 460 items are up for grabs over the next two days.

He says 460 items are up for grabs.

"This year we have got probably more gifts than we have had in many years and not only do we have more gifts, but we have got some really unique items that we think the audience is going to absolutely enjoy."

Weese says there are some different and unique items up for auction this year.

"One of the things that we have is pizza for a year which is always very popular, we also have a bucket of beer, a wheelbarrow full of wine, we have items for the home including a kitchen sink and a toilet."

He says this by far is their largest fundraising effort of the year and they hope to be able to clear in excess of $60,000 from the auction."

The auction takes place from 7 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.

The money will help support local charitable efforts such as food and clothing for the homeless, promote literacy and help children with disabilities,  as well as helping to eradicate polio, provide basic needs and healthcare essentials in 3rd world countries around the world.
