60,000 People Attended Bright Lights Windsor

The City of Windsor estimates 60,000 people took part in the month long Bright Lights festival.

The festive lights display wrapped up last night at Jackson Park.

The focus now shifts to removing the lights which organizers say will be progressive and weather permitting.

Officials says sensitivity is required as some fixtures are subject to freezing, while others must be removed as quickly as possible, dried and stored to prevent degradation.

The last item that will be removed is the 64 ft. tree.
