73's Host Lakers Tonight

There's action tonight in the Provincial Jr Hockey League's Stobbs Division as the 73's take on the last place Wallaceburg Lakers at 7pm, in Essex.

The third place 73's, who are (5-2-0-1) could jump into a tie for first with Lakeshore with a win tonight.

Essex head coach Cam Crowder says the Lakers are playing better hockey than their record indicates.

Crowder tells AM800 Sports he's pleased with the play of top scorers, William Stadder and Michael Vieira, saying "we're real happy with the way those guys have been playing, and we've had some injuries early in the season, and they've carried the load for us offensively."

It should be a great game Friday night at the Atlas Tube Centre, when the 73's battle the Canadiens.
