Blue Jays Down Yankees 4-2

Josh Donaldson connected for a pair of two-run homers off CC Sabathia as the Blue Jays beat the Yankees 4-2 at Rogers Centre.  

Donaldson hit his 14th of the season in the first inning and followed up with his 15th in the third.  J.A. Happ allowed just four hits and one run over five and two thirds innings for his fifth win.  Roberto Osuna worked the ninth for his 29th save.  Sabathia lasted just three innings and slipped to 9-and-5 with the loss.  

Garrett Cooper drove in both New York runs with a single and a sac-fly.  The Yanks had won their previous two games.

The Blue Jays and Yankees resume their three-game set tonight at Rogers Centre.

Righty Nick Tepesch will reportedly be recalled from Triple-A Buffalo to make the start for Toronto. Righty Masahiro Tanaka is slated for New York.
