It was a record night for Blue Jays rookie Bo Bichette.

He now owns the longest hit streak to start a baseball career with the Blue Jays.

Bichette registered a hit Tuesday night for his ninth straight game to set a new club record.

The previous mark of eight games was held by Jesse Barfield and Ryan Goins.

But it wasn't all good for the Blue Jays Tuesday night as they fell apart in Tampa Bay.

Kevin Kiermaier scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Rays came back to beat Toronto 7-6.

The Jays were up 6-0 before giving up a six run fourth inning.

In other MLB action on Tuesday, the Detroit Tigers split a doubleheader with the Chicago White Sox. The Tigers lost the first game 5-3 but won the nightcap 10-6.
