Border City Wrestling Returns To St. Clair College

There will be bodyslams and suplexes at St. Clair College.

The college is home to Border City Wrestling's 'March Breakdown' on Saturday, March 3.

BCW Founder Scott D'Amore says the show is in partnership with the college and Impact Wrestling.

He says the event will be taped and then shown on wrestling stations across the world.

D'Amore says a number of well known wrestlers will be performing at the event.

"You're going to see stars like Impact World Champion Austin Aries," says D'Amore.  "You're going to see Alberto El Patron who's formally known as Alberto Del Rio in WWE, a multi time World Heavyweight Champion.  "You're going to see all your BCW favourites like Phil Atlas, Reverso and A1."

He says it's one of the biggest BCW shows to date.

"The main event of this show is going to be Austin Aries teaming with Alberto El Patron and they're going to be taking on the BCW Heavyweight Champion Kongo Kong and a newcomer to BCW but one of the most known and rising stars in Canadian independent wrestling RJ City," says D'Amore.  "We're also going to see a X Division Championship match."

The show takes place inside the college's original gymnasium.

Students from the Entertainment Technology program assist with the production of the event.

The action begins at 7:30pm.
