Busy Time For Local Travel Agents

It's a busy time for local travel agents with March break around the corner.

Sarah Hupalo, the owner of Goliger's Travel Plus on Howard Avenue says there are still some last minute deals out there.

Speaking on the Afternoon News, she says there are some flights available out of Windsor, Detroit and Toronto for some destinations like Mexico, Jamaica and Cuba.

"Those are kind of the ones where the majority of the non-stop flights are going to so that's why they're hot," she says.

Hupalo says this year, they are seeing a big increase in travellers heading to Costa Rica and Hawaii.

"I think Costa Rica just has a great appeal.  It's a country that doesn't really have a lot of travel issues.  It's hot."
