Canada Falls to Sweden at World Cup

Fifth-ranked Canada is out at the Women's World Cup in Paris.

The team's campaign ended in the round-of-16 on Monday with a disappointing 1-0 loss to Sweden.

Sweden scored first and Canada missed a chance to tie the game off a penalty kick.

The tournament lasted just four games for the Canadian women.

Sweden now moves on to face women's soccer giant Germany in the quarterfinals.

The U.S. already advanced to the quarters today with a win over Spain.
