Canada Wins Third Straight at World Hockey Championship

Canada has extended its win streak to three games at the world hockey championship in Slovakia with a 5-2 win over France on Thursday.

Anthony Mantha scored twice for Canada, while Darnell Nurse, Anthony Cirelli and Mark Stone also scored.

Mantha now leads Canada in scoring with five goals and nine points in four games at the tournament.

Canada outshot France 46-23, including 16-2 in the opening 20 minutes.

Canada is back in action on Saturday against unbeaten Germany.
