There's just one Canadian remaining on the women's side at the Rogers Cup in Toronto.

It's teenager Bianca Andreescu — she beat Eugenie Bouchard in an all-Canadian first-round match up.

Andreescu was playing her first match since the French Open in May because of a shoulder injury.

On the men's side, Felix Auger-Aliassime did not disappoint the hometown crowd at the Rogers Cup in Montreal.

The rising tennis star beat fellow Canadian Vasek Pospisil in the first round with a dramatic 6-2, 6-7, 7-6 victory.

Next up for the 18-year-old is fellow Canadian Milos Raonic — Raonic won their only other meeting 17 months ago.
