Charges Laid In Fatal Minivan-Motorcycle Crash In South Windsor
Windsor police have now laid charges in a fatal motorcycle-minivan crash last month.
On Thursday, March 9th around 10:20pm, a minivan collided with a motorcycle driven by a 17-year-old boy at the corner of Cabana Rd West and Roxborough Boulevard.
The 17-year-old was taken to the hospital where he died of his injuries.
The minivan driver, a 46-year-old Windsor man is facing a charge under the Highway Traffic Act for "left turn, failing to afford reasonable opportunity to avoid a collision." He is also facing a charge for failing to have an insurance card.
The registered owner of the minivan, a 36-year-old Windsor woman, is facing a charge for "owner permit vehicle to be driven without insurance."
