Cleveland Blasts Pistons 112-90
LeBron James had 31 points, seven assists and seven rebounds as the Cavaliers bounced the Pistons 112-90 at Quicken Loans Arena.
It was a smooth adjustment to the starting lineup for Larry Nance Junior, who went for 22 points and 15 rebounds in 32 minutes.
He and Rodney Hood replaced Tristan Thompson and Cedi Osman. Thompson is out with a sprained right ankle.
Cleveland had lost four-of-six before the win. Detroit went into halftime only trailing by five, but lost touch when the Cavs exploded for 36 points in the third quarter.
Blake Griffin led Detroit with 25 points, Andre Drummond added 15 points and Reggie Bullock contributed 11 points.
The Pistons have dropped six-of-seven and are just 2-and-9 in their last 11.
The Pistons open a two game homestand tomorrow night against the Toronto Raptors at Little Caesars Arena.
