Conciliation Set To Prevent Strike At Windsor Assembly Plant
Conciliation is set for Friday aimed at avoiding a strike by nurses at the Windsor Assembly Plant.
The Ontario Nurses Association and FCA Canada held three days of negotiations but failed to reach an agreement.
The association represents 16 nurses at the plant including three full-time, 13 part-time.
"Our highly skilled registered nurses provide for the health and well-being of a population of more than 6,500 workers, providing quality, cost-effective front-line health care in Windsor," says ONA First Vice-President Vicki McKenna.
Wages and benefits are listed as some of the key issues.
