Death Of Lakeshore Fire District Chief Now Manslaughter
The death of a former Lakeshore Fire district chief is now a manslaughter case.
Windsor police have upgraded the charge against 43-year-old Michael Hiller to manslaughter and assault.
On March 24th, officers were called to a residence on Daytona Avenue near Malden in the early morning.
They found a man had suffered life threatening injuries in an altercation involving two men and a woman.
Five days later Joe St. Louis died in hospital from his injuries.
An autopsy was performed in London and those results have come back.
The case remains under active investigation by the Major Crimes unit.
