Drug Seizure at the Ambassador Bridge


A significant drug seizure at the Ambassador Bridge.

The Canada Border Services Agency along with the RCMP have announced that 80 bricks or 213 pounds (97 kilograms) of suspected cocaine was found with the help of a detector dog inside the commercial load of a tractor trailer that was sent to secondary inspection on July 30th.

Gurinder Singh, 27, of LaSalle, Quebec is charged with importation, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) and possession for the purposes of trafficking contrary to the CDSA.

A bail hearing in a Windsor court is pending.
