Epic 420 Festival Wrapping Up in Downtown Windsor
The wet weather has not kept people away from the Epic 420 Festival in Windsor.
Saturday is the final day of the three day cannabis festival at Charles Clark Square which has drawn vendors from as far away as Toronto.
Admission to the festival is $5 or a non-perishable food donation.
Organizer Leo Lucier, who operated Compassion House, wants to promote awareness and support for medical marijuana though the event.
He also hopes to gather several truckloads of donations to bring to local charities as a belated Easter present.
"My biggest focus is on using cannabis as a theme to wipe-out hunger. I'm determined to fill the truck up a couple, maybe three times and donate after Easter when the food banks are depleted."
There are a number of guest speakers attending the event, which also features live music.
The festival continues from 12pm to 11pm Saturday.
