Family Pet Dies In Lakeshore House Fire
A family pet has died in a house fire in Lakeshore.
Fire crews were called around Thursday at 11:30 a.m to a two-storey home at 7328 St. Clair Road near Comber Side Road.
Deputy Fire Chief John Quennell says the home was fully engulfed in flames and was destroyed by the fire.
He called it a stubborn fire.
Two people were out at the time and when they arrived home, they discovered the fire.
A dog died.
The cause is under investigation.
