FCA Recalls Windsor Made Pacifica

Fiat Chrysler is recalling almost 200,000 Pacifica's in the U.S. because of an electrical issue.

"Auto Evolution" is reporting the automaker is recalling the Windsor-made minivans made between 2017 and 2019 along with 10,000 Pacifica's in Canada and Mexico.

There's a potential issue with a wiring harness in the battery assembly which can lead to a loss of power steering or stalling.

FCA claims that if a Pacifica stalls as a result of this issue, it can be immediately restarted, and power steering loss does not mean the car’s entire steering capability is gone.

There have been no injuries or crashes reported.

The start of the recall has not been announced.
