Flood Danger Downgraded Along Erie Shoreline

The Essex Region Conservation Authority has downgraded the Flood Warning to a Flood Watch.

The authority says a shift in the wind to the south and west has resulted in lower lake leves at the Erie shoreline.

Flood waters have subsided out of the Kingsville Area.

Locations in Leamington that were previously inundated, currently have standing water in some areas that can still include some
hidden dangers.

Road closures are still in effect in the Cotterie Park Area in Leamington but that may change through the afternoon.

Areas along the Lake Erie shoreline may continue to experience some impacts from splashing and spray due to wave
activity.

The Flood Watch remains in place until noon April 13, 2019.
