Flood Outlook Issued For Western Lake Erie shoreline

The Essex Region Conservation Authority has issued a Flood Outlook.

With Wednesday's strong winds and high lake levels, there's a possibility for breakwall damage, wave overtopping and spray.

ERCA says the outlook is for the west side of Point Pelee, Leamington, Kingsville, Essex and the west and south shorelines of
Pelee Island.

The public is asked to avoid the western Lake Erie shoreline and to stay away from standing water.
