Flyers Knocked Out by London
The Leamington Flyers season ended Wednesday night as they dropped a 6-2 contest to the Nationals at Western Fair in London.
Cameron Armstrong scored at 3:33 of the opening period, as the Flyers scored first in all four games in the series, which London won in four straight.
The Nationals lead 2-1 after the first period, and 5-2 after 40 minutes.
James Turner scored twice to lead the London attack, while Zach Taylor had the other goal for the Flyers.
Leamington used both goalies, as Zach Borgiel made 17 saves and in relief Ryan Polidori stopped 15 of the 16 London shots he faced.
