A prolonged period of very cold wind chills continues.

An Arctic ridge of high pressure continues to bring cold temperatures and brisk northwesterly winds to Southwestern Ontario.

Windchill values are expected to reach the minus 25 to 30 range this evening and overnight. After Sunday morning temperatures are expected to warm up marking the end of this recent string of cold days.

Tonight: A few clouds. Increasing cloudiness before morning. Wind west 20km/h gusting to 40km/h becoming light this evening. Low -21 C (- 6 F). Wind chill -30 C (-22 F).

Sunday: Cloudy. A few flurries beginning late in the morning. Wind becoming south 30km/h gusting to 50km/h in the morning. High -5 C (23 F). Wind chill -28 C (-18 F).
