Four Truckers Charged In Latest Chain-Reaction Crash On The 401
Charges have been laid in the wake of the latest chain-reaction crash in a construction zone on the 401 in Chatham-Kent.
Provincial police say three tractor trailers and two vehicles collided near Communications Road around 3:45pm on Thursday.
Police have charged one trucker with careless driving and the other two truckers with following too closely.
A fourth trucker faces a charge of careless driving and other offences after attempting to turn around in the median at the Charing Cross overpass and getting stuck.
