The Fraser Institute is out with its annual rankings of Ontario's secondary schools and a Catholic school tops the local ratings.
Scoring top honours in Windsor-Essex is St. Anne Catholic High School with an 8 out of 10 ranking good for 59th overall across Ontario.
For the third year in a row, Vincent Massey High School scored the highest in the public board with a 7.9 out of 10, down slightly from an 8.2 last year which was the top scoreĀ in the region.
Also of note is Essex District High School which made the top 10 list of fastest improving schools for Grade 9 academic math.
The Fraser Institute ranks 747 schools from across the province based on math and literacy test results.
St. Michael's Senior Choir School in Toronto was 1st overall with a 9.4 out of 10 score.
