Fraud Charges Laid Against Windsor Personal Support Worker
Windsor police have laid fraud charges against a personal support worker.
In late February, the Windsor Police Services Financial Crimes Unit launched a fraud investigation after an elderly woman complained about a number of unauthorized financial transactions on her credit card.
A suspect, employed as a personal support worker, was identified who had been providing in-home support to the victim.
On Monday, March 4 at 11:45am, police arrested the suspect without incident.
Sonya Blazevski, 53, of Windsor is charged with 16 counts including fraud, theft and possession of stolen property.
