Golfing Still Available After Storm Damage At Local Course
Monday's rain and wind storm has impacted a local golf course.
Head Golf Professional Ryan Robillard says six trees came down at Ambassador Golf Club on Sprucewood Ave.
He says there were lots of branches and tree limbs on the course.
Robillard says luckily no one was hurt and the tees and greens were not damaged.
"Staff did a great job getting everything, at least getting all the cart paths and stuff cleared," HE says. "We roped off all the trees, no trees fell on any greens or tees, everything kind of happened I guess out of the direct line of play."
Robillard says crews and staff cleaned up for most of the day on Tuesday and will finish on Wednesday.
He says the course did open on Tuesday after the storm.
