Green Giants Shut Out Leprechauns On The Road

A shut out win on the road for the St. Clair Green Giants.

They beat the Irish Hills Leprechauns of Michigan 5-0 Friday night.

Jacob Moskowitz pitched a complete game shut out allowing just four hits.

With the win, the Green Giants move past the .500 mark to 9-8 on the season.

St. Clair now heads back home to begin a weekend series with the Lake Erie Monarchs at Lacasse Park in Tecumseh.

Teams will finish a game that was rained out earlier in the season beginning at 5:30pm Saturday — the scheduled game will begin 30 minutes after the make up game wraps up.

Sunday afternoon's game goes at 3:05pm.
